Challenge/Objective: A niche segment customer competing against
market behemoths looking
to become a “Niche Segment Leader”
A customer who was operating in a niche segment, and wished to compete against large, established companies, had a grand vision of becoming a recognized leader in their niche domain. In order to support this vision, they needed a data-driven approach that would enable them to better know their business, improve customer engagement, and gain a competitive edge.
We created a tailored analytics platform with the capability to aggregate information from multiple major business systems like CRM, Order Management System (OMS), eCommerce, and inventory systems. The solution included both real-time and batch analytical capabilities and was built on top of a high-scale architecture incorporating AWS microservices, machine learning models, and powerful analytics capabilities. The combined platform provided end-to-end streamlined data processing and actionable insights for the organization.
Through these initiatives, the client experienced significant gains in a number of its most important operational and customer experience areas. Customer churn was reduced through improved targeting and engagement, and order-filling processes were streamlined to be more efficient. The platform enabled more precise demand planning and scheduling, improved product recommendations based on customer behavior, and improved performance in last-mile delivery. These adjustments collectively place the client in a stronger position to compete within their market and bring them nearer to their goal of being a market leader.
